Presence and Dissociation

The Human mind toggles between presence and dissociation.

There's nothing personal about this occurring, it feels very personal, however it's not and it happens to everyone. This section is designed to help you learn to spot the differneces in yourself, so you can more assertively regain a sense of presence.

As survival based organisms, when humans experience strong enough emotions the survival brain dissocates into an imagined scenario as a protection mechanism to escape overwhelming pain. Becoming better aware of what's occuring allows us to more quickly and efficently deal with it.
